CLASSIC mid-high bed with safety rail, platform and slide. The ladder has anti-slip steps and can be placed in both ends of the bed, just as the slide. Thereby you can easily form the bed after your child's needs. The space underneath the midsleeper is perfect for storage. By changing the safety rail and adding a slide to the midsleeper, the child's room turns into a playround. The Classic collection growns with the children. By adding short legs to the midsleeper, you can rebuild the bed into a single bed. And by adding high legs to the bed, you can rebuild the bed to a high bed. The bed is made of solid pinewood. WHAT MAKES FLEXA CLASSIC DIFFERENT FROM A BASIC CHILDREN’S BED?
FLEXA CLASSIC is the original FLEXA bed system, designed in Denmark and first crafted in 1972. Unlike a basic children’s bed, CLASSIC can be rebuilt and adapted as your child grows, with options for storage, play, sleepovers and space-saving setups. It is made from solid pinewood and designed for long-lasting use in family life.
CAN A FLEXA CLASSIC BED BE REBUILT LATER?
Yes. FLEXA CLASSIC is a rebuildable bed system. Depending on the model, you can rebuild or add parts to create new setups such as a mid-high bed, high bed, bunk bed or bed with storage. Always use parts from the CLASSIC collection to ensure the correct fit, safety and look.
WHAT MATERIAL IS FLEXA CLASSIC MADE FROM?
FLEXA CLASSIC is made from solid pinewood with FSC®-certified materials. The solid construction gives the bed a stable, high-quality feel, while the timeless Scandinavian design makes it easy to use for many years.
IS FLEXA CLASSIC SAFETY TESTED?
Yes. FLEXA furniture is made for children and tested according to strict safety standards. Beds with a sleeping height above 60 cm are safety tested by TÜV according to the EN:747:2012 EU standard. FLEXA furniture is also designed with rounded edges and tested for non-toxic use in children’s rooms.
HOW MUCH WEIGHT CAN A FLEXA CLASSIC BED HOLD?
FLEXA beds and mattresses can withstand up to 100 kg. The bed slats are approved for loads up to 100 kg and are stress tested by repeated pressure.
CAN I COMBINE CLASSIC WITH PARTS FROM OTHER FLEXA COLLECTIONS?
No. To ensure the best safety, fit and appearance, CLASSIC parts should only be combined with compatible CLASSIC parts. Items from different FLEXA bed collections should not be mixed.
